The Ashram Experience

Aura Journeys offers a guided short tour around the Sri Aurobindo Ashram founded in 1926 and it's departments where the sadhaks engage in at the various departments to help the Ashram to become self-sustainable. The deeper purpose of these units is to serve as a field for sadhana (the spiritual discipline).

Mode: Walking / Bicycle / Rickshaw 

Cost: INR 1,000 per person all inclusive

Inclusions: Guide with deep knowledge about the Ashram, Cycle rickshaw (if preferred), Water Bottle.

Optional: You can get the experience customized for you and your group by discussing your preferences with us beforehand. The starting time, duration, places covered, etc. can all be tailor-made in case there are certain places of interest you want to include. A local lunch, showcasing the unique fusion cuisine of Pondicherry can also be included. Personalized tours costings will be discussed after knowing requirements.
